![]() ![]() I like the spiral wood stairs best for look and for space a the the top and bottom, but, obviously, they take up a lot more space. And I hate the small stair options - they are super ugly, and even they are often too big if you want to do any sort of design either than stacking the same sized cubes on top of each other. The long stairs really don't work because they are basically up against both walls at the top and the bottom. I liked the Portia house, but I like this freedom better, but, indeed there's some major things to fix:ġ) Showroom options: should ONLY come with items you can get from the editing screen and nothing else because you might not have access to whatever random item the creator of the showroom added.Ģ) Auto placing the stairs - TURN THIS OFF!!!! The amount of work I've had ruined by the auto stairs, sending all my stuff to my mailbox has been extremely frustrating.ģ) Stairs take up WAY too much room for the limited sized rooms we're given. They don't have to be functional, just for aesthetics. Maybe Heidi can sell them as pre-fab rooms, wall panels, corners or something. A kitchenette, lab, deco clutter, like groups of plants, parts, etc. Would like the option to have a more "lived in look". You lose the materials, cost and time, then double that if you decide to redo them all. I didn't think it would add a staircase (that doesn't fit normally) into a room that was one notch bigger than the smallest size.Īnother problem is whenever stairs, doors or any changes that happen to remove items to your mailbox the alternate skins or color changes you did with those items are gone. Spent two hours last night building up my house and had to scrap it (reload) because it added a staircase into a small room that had all my chests that I was making into a tower. There isn't any reason to add stairs to every room that has a second floor. The troubles that MAY come with people missing how to place stairs is nothing compared to the problems with the game placing stairs.Īgree with all of this. My number one complaint would be turn off AUTO stair placement. Originally posted by Ihateeverybody:I prefer Sandrock Home Editing to Portia but I am not blind to it's problems. ![]()
